Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of The US women's Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics she won gold on both the floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze medal was awarded with her balance bar. It made her one of the very first American gymnast in the Olympics to win the most medals. The 2016 Olympics included her winning gold in the team competition, which earned both she and Gabby the honor of being the first Americans ever to win consecutive gold medals for a team. The silver medals she won came from the floor individual and all-around event. After the 2002 Olympics, she was off for three years from gymnastics. Also, she was a one of the gold medal winning American squads at the two World Championships. Her favourite event is floor exercise. She started learning gymnastics at the age of two years older. Aly has a strong support for the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She is planning to pursue an occupation in fashion and hopes to broaden her leotard line and socks later on. Fierce will be published in the summer of this year.
